Hi everyone,
H3 is getting a summer outing together and would like some ideas from our users. This will be a few day event where we can all get together and share. We will do some caching and learn from everyone what works and doesn't work.
Let us know how much interest you have for this type of event.

Hey... This sounds like fun... It would be great to meet other H3 users and find out what they have learned.. share information.. Maybe have some contests... Like fasted found... or most found... somethings like that....
Do you have a location picked out... hopefully somewhere towards the middle of the country so everyone will have an equal chance financially to attend...
This would be a great time for those who are struggling with their H3 and learning how to operate it to get a better understanding of how it really works...I might suggest a letter goes out to every H3 owner from day one to present....
Not that I am beating my own band.. But I now live in the Corpus Christi area of Texas...(NW of CC).. in fact, I live just 1/4 off the "El Camino Real" that went from Mexico City to Miss... as well as Santa Ana and his army went right through here... Approx 2 miles away from where I live, as the birds fly.. was one of the first battles for Texas Independence.. in the small hamlet of San Preciscio... a house to house fighting at 3 am... a few weeks before the encounter with the folks at the Gonzales (approx 50 miles away) and the Alamo...The last battle of the Civil War occurred near here... Lots and lots of treasure opportunities here, for those who may want to venture out on their own... as well as many contacts where we would have several acres of land to hold contest and meetings... and the local museums are first class with artifacts from the 16th, 17th and 18th centuries...
There is sooooo much history around here.. the French, the Spanish, the English, early settlers, local and some now extinct American Indian Nations...the Civil War, many, many famous pirates...
I'd like to suggest such a location as the Corpus Christi area for a get together...and fun time for everyone getting to know each other and learning new things...
Any way... I'm down for a great time and meeting new friends...and learning more about the H3... Lets do it!!!!... no matter were we hold the fun time gathering...but for sure, lets do it!!
Hope other voice their opinions about a group gathering... fun and learning time... |
