Hi Kids,

We are tooling up for our first underwater housing.   The tooling was completed yesterday.  Today I am forming the negative mold, and then will be doing a casting of the Male side of the plug.  This is all a new thing for us at H3 but our engineers are the best.  It will be a great thing to have for finding Spanish, American, and just about any kind of underwater treasure, or even natural resource.   We are making 2 of them for testing.   I will post some pictures on our website in a few days.

Thanks for all your support and we are thankful for you our clients.

H3 Tec.

Status update for the Underwater housing.  We have all the tooling for the major part of the housing.   We will do some casting today when all the molds come out.  It's a long process and we have spent about 6 weeks time in getting all the tooling just right.

With any good fortune we will pressure cast our first housing on Monday!  As all projects go, it took much longer than I wanted it to take, but having tooling made is a very slow process even when we control all the machines.

Woo hoo salvor's get ready to take the H3 down to the bottom and pinpoint the good stuff.

Underwater housing serial #0000001 is cast and awaiting cure.   Can pull it out of the machines after 90 minutes of bake, and cool-down.  We have no idea how this first one will turn out, but we think it will be very good.  Everything injected correctly and that's 1/2 of it, now we will see how the actual product comes out in 2 hours.   It will need some work, and we expect that it will have some cosmetic flaws in it, but as to function it will be fine. Thanks to our secret client who ordered this and thankful for his patience.  It's been a long process, and we are excited to get this think in the water in two days for testing.

0000001 underwater was a great test piece for form fit and function.  All was not perfect as it slid 1/4 " in the tooling.. adjustments have been made and # 0000002 is in the mold now... It has to be shipped in 2 days...

If you need to do some salt water testing, I've got a spot dwon here in San Diego that I'd love to try! I got a hit while standing on the beach that points out into the water, and I think it's within snorkeling distance. It's a rocky area underwater, so visibility won't be good, and the water's still cold, which is why I haven't tried to search by eye or feel. I'm intrigued that you're going forward with this latest development. Great news! Thanks, and I look forward to more updates.

well, the uw housing is taking more time than we thought it would as we are still awaiting on a few small parts.  The O-ring and the latches... it looks good and seems to be ok, but we won't know until we get it in the water.

Hey Chuck....

That is great news...!!!!!!

It would be great for George and I to test one on the old Spanish treasure ship he has found with his H3...and I have confirmed its location using my H3....both his and my readings are from shore....it appears to be in about 18 to 25 feet of water, depending on the tides.... according to the depth charts for this area...

We are convinced he has found a specific ship with a manifest of over 1,000,000 silver coins, plus silver and gold bars.... its in the right area for this old ship, according to Spanish records, and in the past coins were found on the beach near were we were shooting our readings from...

We were considering having the divers using an underwater detector to actually pinpoint the location .....  but it would be great to test one or two of the UW H3's on this old ship wreck....if that were possible to be arranged.

We also believe the ship's cargo has been distributed over a wide area due to how close to shore it is....it appears to be about 500 to 700 yards off shore and several strong hurricanes have hit this area in the last 400 years...however, there is a very, very strong hit, as stated before about 500 yards off shore...

Thanks for all you do...

Ike

I have a shipping notice on the Under Water projects o-rings.  Woo hoo. They will be here Tuesday.  Training Wednesday and Thursday.  Friday I will machine the groove, and test for leaks on Saturday.

Finally!   Couple more parts to fit once I get the o-ring and machining done..
